The Really Hot Jungle Show

Aesop's Fable “The Lion and the Mouse” and the African Tale, “Who's in Rabbit's House?” are performed with hand puppets. A special pantomime and musical act complete this funny show.

Festival of Sail

The annual festival kicks off with a parade of tall ships on San Diego Bay (Thu 10am-2pm) and also includes live entertainment, a family activity area, and food vendors. Advance ticket purchase for Daily Access Passports and Cannon Battles is available on the website.

Brazilian Day Festival

The largest Brazilian festival on the west coast is happening in Pacific Beach showcasing the culture of Brazil and South America. Unique handicrafts, tempting foods, lively music, and colorful costumed performances lure people to come. This event is in conjunction with the "Brazilian Day Parade".

Sept. 18

45th Annual San Diego Bayfair Powerboat Racing

An extreme watersport event where sleek powerboats and hydroplanes race so fast that they can nearly become airborne. The event includes live band music, merchandise, displays, food, mini hydro racing, motorhome camping, and a Saturday night fireworks show.
