La Jolla Shores: grassy area for picnicking, gentle waves, public restrooms, parking lot

8200 Camino del Oro, La Jolla

 

La Jolla Cove: small and beautiful, swimming and diving only, public restrooms, no parking lot but shuttles are available

1100 Coast Blvd., La Jolla

 

Children's Pool: seals and sea lions rest on the shore here, grassy areas nearby, public restrooms with showers, limited parking

North Pacific Beach: one-mile long beach north of Crystal Pier
