Tour of the fire training tower, view the fire engines, ambulances and the aerial ladder truck and explore the Kid’s Safety House to learn fire and burn-prevention methods.

Apple Days Festival

Kids craft activity from 11 am-3 pm. For an additional $3.00 per person, families can sign up for a Historic Bay Cruise on San Diego Bay aboard the museum’s historic 1914 harbor pilot boat Pilot.

Pumpkin Express

Board the Pumpkin Express at the historic Campo Depot and travel to the Great Pumpkin Patch. Children will be able to enjoy the one to one and one half hour train ride, then tour the haunted train, pick out a pumpkin and decorate it inside the Display Building. Advance reservations are strongly encouraged.

Cahito Spooktacular

Pumpkin patch, child-friendly haunted trail, carnival games, pumpkin carving stations with purchase of a Cahito pumpkin, face painting, food, music and a bonfire.

Free admission, trail is $5/person and other activities and food will have also a fee.

Polka Dot Ghost

This ghost needs help to get scary for Halloween.

Old Town Fall Festival

Fall crafts and children’s activities a la San Diego in the 1870s will be held from noon to 4 p.m. in the central plaza at Old Town San Diego State Historic Park. Many merchants surrounding the park will have activities as well.

Hoot, Howl and Prowl

Meet the canyon's “wildlife” up close! Tours last 75 minutes. End the evening with a cup of hot chocolate! Children are encouraged to wear animal costumes and each will be given a glow necklace.

The Boulevard Boo! Parade and Carnival

A Halloween spooktacular, sponsored by the College Area Business Improvement District. Ghoulish floats, vintage cars, equestrian entries, unique costumed characters, bands and more! Enjoy a parade and carnival at Clay Park.

Oct. 27

Halloween Family Day

Celebrate bats and other nocturnal creatures. Activities and crafts to take home. Grab a flashlight a visit the Critter Cavern!

Once Upon a Halloween

Train rides, haunted house, storytelling, live statue garden and carnival games.
